Williams, Arizona

Williams is the gateway to the Grand Canyon. In early days Williams was an important place along the famous Route66. Referrals to the Motherroad can be found everywhere around the city.

The campground is just north of Williams and 45 minutes south of Grand Canyon NP. The camground has a heated pool. Due to its altitude the nights can be chilly, even in summer. In early spring or late fall the temperature drops quickly to low fifties or even forties. This is one of the reasons for the many campfires that burn on the campground each night.
